Both a celebration and lament, Isle of Sin pays tribute to Dursley McLinden (1965–1995)—the Manx stage & screen actor whose life was an inspiration for the Channel 4 drama, It’s a Sin—and explores the darker years prior to the partial legalisation of sex between men in 1992. The pamphlet ends by acknowledging how far the Isle of Man has
progressed in overcoming the sins prejudice possesses.
